As a Senior Media Manager, your responsibilities:
· Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies that align with our client’s objectives and target audience.
· Oversee all media planning and buying activities across various channels, including digital, print, television, radio, and social media.
· Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring maximum ROI and cost-efficiency.
· Stay ahead of industry trends and identify emerging opportunities for advertising and brand exposure.
· Collaborate with creative and account servicing teams to create engaging and impactful media campaigns
· Monitor and analyze media performance metrics, providing actionable insights for optimization.
· Lead a team of media specialists, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to foster their professional growth.
· Build strong relationships with media vendors and negotiate favorable contracts and pricing.
· Ensure compliance with legal and ethical media guidelines in all campaigns.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or up in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Possession of Industry recognised trade certificates a plus.
· Proven experience as a Senior Media Manager or similar role with a minimum of 6 years in media planning and buying, with a focus on multicultural marketing.
· Demonstrated success in developing and executing media strategies that cater to diverse communities in the Canadian market, with measurable results.
· In-depth knowledge of various multicultural media channels, including traditional and digital media landscapes.
· Strong network and connections within the multicultural advertising industry.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain vendor relationships.
· Highly analytical with a data-driven mindset, able to make strategic decisions based on insights.
· Proficiency in media analytics tools and digital platforms to track performance and adjust strategies, such as Meta, X, Google Ads, Tiktok, WeChat, Weibo, and CM360, DV360, GTM, GA, Looker Studio, DoubleVerified (DV) and Integral Ad Science (IAS), Bionic
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
· Creative thinker with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
