As a Media Executive / Coordinator, you will be a junior member of the media team. Your tasks and responsibilities are primarily to support the Media Manager / Supervisor in setting up and managing 360-degree media campaigns from an executional standpoint. There will also be opportunities to get your feet wet in preparing and delivering basic presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Prepare a range of administrative documents in the course of running campaigns such as insertion orders and MPA’s, vendor contracts, ad trafficking sheets
  • Upload and maintain campaign, ad asset, and budget information in our shared databases
  • Traffick campaign assets and test links to ensure that measurement tags are firing properly
  • Monitor in-flight campaign performance, and work closely with account servicing and media vendors to carry out optimizations
  • Use various digital tools to extract large amounts of raw campaign data and to organize it through pivot tables and/or slides
  • Prepare mid-campaign and post-campaign reports which include summaries of data, findings, and your recommendations
  • Participate in producing competitive monitoring reports including scanning traditional media, websites, and apps, and supporting the Manager in justifying points of view (POV)
  • Support the Manager in conducting research for media strategies and proposals, through a mix of cross-tab tools and online search
  • Support the Manager in sourcing information from media vendors (both online and offline) and transposing it to our presentations
  • Support the Manager in development of POV documents for internal and client presentation
  • Stay abreast of current market and media trends / technologies

 

Other skills:

  • 0 to 2 years of digital media planning and buying experience; bonus if you have offline experience as well
  • Able to independently operate digital ad trafficking tools, and set up campaigns using ad platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook, Twitter for Business, Tiktok, and WeChat)
  • Solid understanding of analytics platforms such as GA360 and Adobe Analytics
  • Solid understanding of how programmatic media and trading desks work
  • Excellent command of English. A plus if you know any of these languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, or Punjabi

Role & Responsibilities

Your work at Dyversity as a Media Manager / Supervisor will fall into 3 main areas, and you will supervise the Media Executive(s) in carrying these tasks out. However, we work in a very dynamic environment and you may need to get involved in other ad hoc tasks from time-to-time.

  • Proposal Writing & Thought Articulation
    • Initiate the proposal writing process with research through various channels including cross-tab tools, whitepapers, and online search
    • Distill large amounts of research to highlight key data points and insights
    • Able to storytell through a combination of data and qualitative research
    • Competent in writing slides on PowerPoint that are aesthetically pleasing
    • Have a clear, logical mind and be able to confidently present your ideas to both internal and client stakeholders
    • A plus if you have work samples to share of decks that you’ve written and are really proud of!

 

  • Campaign Management & Execution
    • Collaborate with the Account Servicing and Creative teams to receive / clarify client briefs and campaign objectives
    • Lead the overall effort to prepare strategic and tactical cultural media plans for assigned client campaigns
    • Place insertion and booking orders with media vendors
    • Operate digital platforms such as Google Campaign Manager / Facebook Business Manager to set up and execute digital media campaigns
    • Manage and upload both display and video marketing assets
    • Set up and test tracking or other campaign measurement tags
    • Keep a tab on campaign performance and optimize longer duration campaigns
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, and post-campaign reports
    • Conduct competitor ad format and spending reports on an ad hoc basis
    • Be the main presenter for assigned media proposals and data reports
    • Be a proactive project manager who knows how to pull on resources when needed (including from senior management and across teams)

 

  • Vendor Management
    • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with cultural media vendors and ad tech partners
    • Translate project requirements/objectives into vendor briefs to source media proposals and quotations
    • Engage in vendor cost and resource negotiations on an as-needed basis
    • Stay on top of the latest vendor and partner offerings, and brainstorm with them to come up with novel solutions to client challenges
    • Coordinate knowledge-sharing and vendor update meetings for the broader media team when new offerings are rolled out
    • Maintain and update key sections of our vendor database

 

Skill & Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in media planning, and managing marketing budgets across online and offline channels (preferably in an agency environment)
  • Experienced in managing and training junior execution staff

As a Media Executive / Coordinator, you will be a junior member of the media team. Your tasks and responsibilities are primarily to support the Media Manager / Supervisor in setting up and managing 360-degree media campaigns from an executional standpoint. There will also be opportunities to get your feet wet in preparing and delivering basic presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Prepare a range of administrative documents in the course of running campaigns such as insertion orders and MPA’s, vendor contracts, ad trafficking sheets
  • Upload and maintain campaign, ad asset, and budget information in our shared databases
  • Traffick campaign assets and test links to ensure that measurement tags are firing properly
  • Monitor in-flight campaign performance, and work closely with account servicing and media vendors to carry out optimizations
  • Use various digital tools to extract large amounts of raw campaign data and to organize it through pivot tables and/or slides
  • Prepare mid-campaign and post-campaign reports which include summaries of data, findings, and your recommendations
  • Participate in producing competitive monitoring reports including scanning traditional media, websites, and apps, and supporting the Manager in justifying points of view (POV)
  • Support the Manager in conducting research for media strategies and proposals, through a mix of cross-tab tools and online search
  • Support the Manager in sourcing information from media vendors (both online and offline) and transposing it to our presentations
  • Support the Manager in development of POV documents for internal and client presentation
  • Stay abreast of current market and media trends / technologies

 

Other skills:

  • 0 to 2 years of digital media planning and buying experience; bonus if you have offline experience as well
  • Able to independently operate digital ad trafficking tools, and set up campaigns using ad platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook, Twitter for Business, Tiktok, and WeChat)
  • Solid understanding of analytics platforms such as GA360 and Adobe Analytics
  • Solid understanding of how programmatic media and trading desks work

Role & Responsibilities

Your work at Dyversity as a Media Manager / Supervisor will fall into 3 main areas, and you will supervise the Media Executive(s) in carrying these tasks out. However, we work in a very dynamic environment and you may need to get involved in other ad hoc tasks from time-to-time.

  • Proposal Writing & Thought Articulation
    • Initiate the proposal writing process with research through various channels including cross-tab tools, whitepapers, and online search
    • Distill large amounts of research to highlight key data points and insights
    • Able to storytell through a combination of data and qualitative research
    • Competent in writing slides on PowerPoint that are aesthetically pleasing
    • Have a clear, logical mind and be able to confidently present your ideas to both internal and client stakeholders
    • A plus if you have work samples to share of decks that you’ve written and are really proud of!

 

  • Campaign Management & Execution
    • Collaborate with the Account Servicing and Creative teams to receive / clarify client briefs and campaign objectives
    • Lead the overall effort to prepare strategic and tactical cultural media plans for assigned client campaigns
    • Place insertion and booking orders with media vendors
    • Operate digital platforms such as Google Campaign Manager / Facebook Business Manager to set up and execute digital media campaigns
    • Manage and upload both display and video marketing assets
    • Set up and test tracking or other campaign measurement tags
    • Keep a tab on campaign performance and optimize longer duration campaigns
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, and post-campaign reports
    • Conduct competitor ad format and spending reports on an ad hoc basis
    • Be the main presenter for assigned media proposals and data reports
    • Be a proactive project manager who knows how to pull on resources when needed (including from senior management and across teams)

 

  • Vendor Management
    • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with cultural media vendors and ad tech partners
    • Translate project requirements/objectives into vendor briefs to source media proposals and quotations
    • Engage in vendor cost and resource negotiations on an as-needed basis
    • Stay on top of the latest vendor and partner offerings, and brainstorm with them to come up with novel solutions to client challenges
    • Coordinate knowledge-sharing and vendor update meetings for the broader media team when new offerings are rolled out
    • Maintain and update key sections of our vendor database

 

Skill & Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in media planning, and managing marketing budgets across online and offline channels (preferably in an agency environment)
  • Experienced in managing and training junior execution staff
  • A self-starting and adaptable individual who is passionate about the multicultural space
  • Solid strategic thinking and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of how programmatic media and data work
  • Able to manage media performance and KPIs such as CPM, CPC, CPA, ROAS, etc.
  • Proficiency in handling large amounts of data in Microsoft Excel
